Everything from the facilities to the rooms was commendable, but outside the pool some kids fell and got badly hurt, and the kids’ pool is really for older children only.

The pool stayed clean even in low season, but the surrounding area isn’t great and the hotel could use a bit of renovation.

The hotel’s facilities and cleanliness were fine, but the bathroom has no window and the exhaust fan with a motion sensor forces us to keep the door open to avoid bad smells; the fan then turns on while we’re moving around the room, which is annoying. Breakfast was weak, especially since there were few guests during low season, and this made it hard to dine out. The hotel’s restaurant and snack bar were closed and there were no nearby restaurants open. A strong windstorm made us hesitant to leave for Ubatuba, so we ended up heating frozen food in the hotel lounge.
