“Bon emplacement mais le ménage ferait la différence”

The location in Chaloklum was close to the beach. The place wasn’t very clean; we were asked to remove our shoes at the entrance of the floor, yet the floor itself wasn’t clean or dirty enough to make our feet dirty after a shower. The shared bathroom for the three rooms could use a good cleaning. Lots of mosquitoes.

“overall,, it was great. i would definitly go back and recomend it”

The spot was great and laid‑back. The room was super comfy. The room could use a few more amenities: a mini fridge for cold water would be nice, the lights are a bit awkward, the toilet flush didn’t work properly, and there was no hair dryer.

This cozy guesthouse keeps us away from road noise and offers a quiet, peaceful setting. We’ve stayed here for years and always leave happy. The rooms are clean and cozy, with thoughtful touches and everything you need. The ground‑floor restaurant serves tasty burgers and poke bowls. It’s a good pick for couples and families, and we’ll definitely return next year.

The guesthouse sits in a beautiful jungle setting with a nice restaurant, but the beds were dirty with stains, there were large spiders and a big cockroach in the room, and the bathroom smelled horrendous; despite reporting it, the odor never improved, so we bought incense ourselves to mask the sewer‑like stink that came from the attached bathroom. The whole room was unclean, with stains everywhere, no window screens allowing pests inside, massive dust webs under the bed that triggered my allergies, and overall the hygiene was poor despite the otherwise nice property.

“Great location”

The location was convenient, just off the main road to Chalaklum, but there was a sewage smell that lingered.
