“Nice location. Terrible bedding”
The location was great and the club felt secluded, but the mattresses were rock hard, the beds tiny, and overall it fell far below modern hotel standards for the price; Embassy Suites offers a more comfortable bed.

The location was excellent, the place was clean, and we were able to check in early after a long flight, but the beds were very bad and the female front‑desk staff were much less empathetic or helpful than the male staff.

The location was great and the staff were very helpful, but I stayed on August 1 for one night, was charged $346 for the room and $396 for a security deposit, and after 2 weeks and four calls plus an email the deposit still hasn’t been returned; despite the enjoyable stay, the post‑checkout service is absurdly frustrating.

The location was excellent, yet our first room lacked hot water, so the staff moved us to another room that worked fine; the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious with everything needed, but we could never get the Solarium open during our stay, which was a shame because it looked amazing.

Being right in Manhattan’s heart and having a small hotel means the elevators arrive quickly, which is a big advantage over high‑rise hotels; however, the rooms had no refrigerator or water, and the reception never refilled our shampoo—on some days we were two people but they only stocked for one.
