This is basic overnight accommodation above a bar, with a kitchen and lounge available for residents. I was welcomed and clearly briefed, and for the price it was a decent and convenient stay. It's quite a distance from Cambridge’s centre but on a bus route. I was worried it would be noisy above the bar, but it turned out fine.

The location near the train station was super convenient, and checking in and out went smoothly; the room was clean and well equipped, with a large kitchen that had all the tea and coffee supplies and cooking gear you could need. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and there was barely any toilet paper. At night the street noise was pretty loud, and once there was a fight in the hallway.

The spot was great, the TV worked, the bed was comfy, and check‑in was flexible. However, there’s a pub downstairs, so it can get really noisy—especially on Fridays until midnight—and the Wi‑Fi signal was weak.
