Quality Inn Grand Rapids Near Downtown

It didn’t look clean and most items in the room were broken or missing.

“Terrible stay”

Nothing positive. The Jacuzzi didn’t work and was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and the TV did not work.

The location was relatively close to downtown Grand Rapids and near a bus line for easy travel, and despite being close to a main road, the noise level wasn’t noticeable. I wasn’t informed that my room was one of the few that shared a door with an adjacent room, which would have been helpful to know for lock quality. The walls were paper thin, so I could hear conversations and footsteps in the hall. The shower had bad water pressure, with water coming half from the nozzle and half from the spout while making loud high‑pitched rattling noises. I found a couple of bugs in the bathroom and bedroom.

The room was clean and well appointed—you couldn't ask for more. The only downside was that they use small pillows on the bed; they get you by but are definitely an aggravation if you normally use a lot of pillows.

“Unsafe facility with no safety features or staff that cares.”

Nothing absolutely nothing! We saw a man kick a door near our room and then beat a lady when the door opened. There were no locks on the side door as you entered the building. The toilet seat wasn’t attached in our room. The linens had brown stains. The rooms and hallways smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. The rude clerk refused to help or call 911 and said she could do nothing when people kicked in doors and beat the other person inside the room. We were witnesses and he targeted us next, then came out after us. We ran to our car with our belongings as fast as we could. We requested a refund because we didn’t stay there. Instead we drove over 2 hours to get home. We came to stay after a concert, but this place is so awful.
