The modern building is great, with nice balconies and a bar right next to the beach. Live music happens every day and the BBQ parties are actually fun! When I arrived in early September there was a lot of seaweed on the beach, but it cleared up in the following days and swimming became just perfect. The restaurant is pricey, but like most places in Barbados you should expect to spend 50‑70 USD on lunch or $30 on breakfast. Most of the staff are very friendly and nice, though some cleaning ladies are not and can just break into the room without knocking.

The quiet ambience of the locality and the beach around the hotel, the friendliness of the staff at the front desk and the restaurant, and the cool comfort of the room were all positives. The laundry service outsourced by the hotel was pathetic, especially in terms of wash quality.
