I loved the perfect room with its stunning view, and the variety of restaurants serving lunch and dinner was definitely a highlight that I’d strongly recommend. The only drawback was the pool area, which offered no place to set down belongings, not even nearby.

The view was beautiful, the restaurants were lovely, the waiters were very friendly, and the live music added a nice touch that made the evening special; we needed a break from routine and left feeling happy, sure to return. However, the hosts were quite unfriendly, the fridge bar amenities were warm, and we were left in the dark about the closing of the Cocoa restaurant we’d chosen for its beach view. We were attended at the front desk where the waiter made the experience pleasant. We didn’t have robes or slippers in the room, but we didn’t report or request them. We were celebrating an anniversary and expected a complimentary amenity, but none was provided.

The restaurants were terrible and reservations were limited; the food was not good at all, so I would give it 0/10 and would not recommend this resort. The staff were rude and the food was awful.

The location, the beach, the varied breakfast, and the friendliness were all great. Booking had included a free child, but when I arrived with my two little ones they charged us for both!

I paid for the Sens package thinking it was all-inclusive, yet I liked the adult‑only Balinese bed by the sea front; I paid the daily rate to use that bed, and spending the day on the beach at this comfortable spot with exclusive service was wonderful. I was first extremely annoyed by the push to sell a hotel‑tied hammock package. At check‑in, we were offered a “special” breakfast and massage, only to find the next day everything was a sales pitch for tourism products. We had the “special” breakfast with a sales staff member and my family, who took up a large part of our time presenting hotel‑use products. We endured it politely until I was direct and managed to break free from the insistence after losing part of our morning. Totally inconvenient! Note that the hotel doesn’t seem 5‑star; we paid Sens for peace of mind, but the only advantage is being able to book special restaurants. The supposedly lower‑priced side with cheaper daily rates uses the full facilities and ends up overcrowding those who pay for a quieter, exclusive stay. The pools were crowded, and the bathrooms were poorly maintained.
