“Smell is overpowering. Bed squeaky.”
Stepping inside, a heavy perfume or deodorant smell hit me right away, and the bed in my room made a noticeable creak that made me think about asking for a different room.
“Surprise cold shower in the morning wasn’t appreciated.”
The room was clean, but there was no hot water, the window screen was broken, and there was no towel bar. The light switch at the entrance was taped over and didn't work.
“Better than Sydney Motel, NOT!!!”
The location was fine and quiet for the price, but there was no coffee maker in the room or the lobby, and nothing for continental breakfast even though the photos showed it. The shower had hair from the previous guest on the walls, the air conditioner kept shutting off and we had to reset it constantly, and the hallway to the room had a horrible smell that I can't even describe. It was always hot in the hallway, the stairway carpet was dirty, and the floors had a slick film on them. For the money I paid, it was a disaster.
“I would rather sleep in the woods it would have been cleaner.”
I didn't like a single thing about my stay—it was dirty, smelly, and just unpleasant. This place should close down; it's not fit for guests. The new owners need to hire people who actually speak English from the US.
“It was okay, would have been nice to have a couple bottles of water at least in the room”
It was close to where I needed to be, but some shady people were hanging around outside at about 10 pm when we came back from our event.
