It was very quiet near the forests and looked nice from the outside, but without a scooter or car you can’t really stay here. The listing said breakfast was available and the restaurant was open, but neither was true; breakfast nearby was hard to find and dinner was impossible. The room was stale and had mold on the walls, and the bed was extremely hard, so sleeping well was impossible. We left after two nights. The staff were friendly but could do little about it. There isn’t much to do in Mang Den either.

The facilities matched my expectations, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent, close to local markets, cafés, and restaurants.
