The location is fantastic for transport, with several metro stations less than 100 m away. The room is quite large for Manhattan standards, and the staff are super attentive. The elevators can be a bit slow at times, and the AC in the room makes a lot of noise.

I was excited about the location, super well connected, but the staff never responded to my requests. I asked for 3 pairs of socks (since we were three people) and we only received one; when I told the gentleman that we had ordered three, he said we wouldn’t get more. The next day I went to reception and told them we still needed two more pairs; the lady said she would send a request and someone would bring them. Unfortunately we never got the socks during the rest of our stay.

The hotel offers a spectacular view and a great location, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, yet the bathroom in the room was very poorly equipped and outdated for a hotel of this standard.

The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfortable. Our experience with the staff and breakfast was terrible. The room was very dirty, the hairdryer didn't work, and the bathroom door wouldn't close. The hotel bar, where guests can use their $25 credit, is staffed by extremely rude and unfriendly employees. One member of staff actually ordered us to collect our empty breakfast boxes and throw them into the bin. I should point out that I normally leave my table clean when I eat at cafés, but just a few minutes earlier, a member of staff had come around clearing the tables and had taken the very bin we were supposedly expected to use with them. It was therefore obvious that clearing the tables was part of the service provided, especially in a four-star hotel charging over $700 per night. But the issue isn't having to clear a table. I'm perfectly happy to do that. The unacceptable part was being shouted at by an incredibly rude employee, who yelled at me: "Go back to your table right now and throw the boxes into that bin down there!" We went to report the incident to the hotel manager, who apparently thought it was sufficient to refund the $25 breakfast credit. He made absolutely no effort to apologise for the staff's behaviour or to show any concern about the way we had been treated
