A private balcony offers a sea view, and the room includes air‑conditioning and a minibar. Guests can choose either two single beds or one large double bed, accommodating up to two people. The en‑suite bathroom features a shower.
The pools, bar and buffet were nice, but the bathroom sinks drained very slowly; we first booked a double room for two nights, then asked for an upgrade to a private‑pool suite and were given a room with two singles that suffered the same sink problem. Getting a themed dinner was a hassle even when booked three days ahead, and the neighboring door slammed loudly, making it hard to sleep.
“A Boavista está a seguir o caminho da insustentabilidade turistica.”
The location is good. There are a lot of mosquitoes – it was full. Restaurants and pools don’t have the capacity for so many people. The food is almost exhausted – there is a lack of variety.
The location and service were great, but the price felt a bit high and there were few choices for drink brands or beers.
“Revoir la propreté! Des chambres et des installations”
The short walk to the beach is convenient, yet the housekeeping left the room, bedding and towels stained, and the pool showed rust – far below what a five‑star resort should provide.
The rooms were clean and the beach and evening entertainment were enjoyable, but the food was abundant yet very basic, with two of the three restaurants operating as self‑service buffets that added nothing special, and the only à‑la‑carte venue was impossible to reserve for four days because it filled up quickly. On top of that, the admin office never issued a bill after we left, which was disappointing.
