“Nuit cauchemardesque !”
The proximity to the city center is a plus. The cleanliness is lacking: dust and mold in the shower. The worst is the room itself, with a poorly insulated glass door that opens directly onto the breakfast area, a kind of courtyard with a resonant roof. At 1:30 am we were woken by noise and light because someone started preparing the breakfast room, as if it couldn’t be done earlier. For an hour we heard everything they did, plates on tables, chairs moved. Leaving around 2:30 am, the lights were still on. I was so upset I didn’t sleep until 5 am, only to be woken again by people having breakfast. The next day I explained this to reception, but they seemed indifferent, offered no apology or compensation, and only said they would do the necessary when I suggested they prepare the breakfast room before night. In short, avoid it! Don’t read the reviews on Booking; look at Google instead—you’ll see what I say is true, many others have experienced it. After that, the dust and mold in the bathroom made me not want to talk about it more.
