I noticed a bit too late that I booked a room without a bathroom, and I admit I got worried about it. However, the room was very comfortable, well maintained, and it was easy to reach the bathroom (separate facilities for the shower and toilet). Over the course of three weeks, I had essentially no problem with other guests waiting at the same time. The location is amazing and very close to the Pisa Tower (less than five minutes by walk), not to mention being close to several restaurants and a few supermarkets. The AC and ceiling fan in the room were very helpful to control the heat, and I was very comfortable temperature-wise (even though the city was boiling hot). The AC unit in my room was too loud, which made it uncomfortable during the night. I don't think the vending machine downstairs takes credit cards (only coins), which makes it more difficult to use. A larger variety of snacks at the vending machine would also be great.
