“Our expectations were met by a quant New England Inn”

Breakfast was excellent and the food felt homemade; the setting was quiet and peaceful, the rooms reflected old mill construction and history, and the outdoor view was picturesque with the soothing sound of water over the dam. The Inn Keeper was very personable and enhanced the experience. We suggest adding seasonal plantings like fall pumpkins or mums to improve the first impression upon arrival.

“Short, sweet, and comfy!”

The bed was incredibly comfortable, everything was spotless and well maintained. The site is gorgeous. When we met the staff, they were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I appreciated that the drinking water in the rooms and lobby came in glass containers, not plastic! I also loved the natural shampoo and soap in the shower, free of chemicals. The gluten‑free banana bread at breakfast was a nice touch for my diet. I didn’t find anything I disliked, except that after our concert I took a large glass of lemon water in the lobby and the lemons had definitely gone bad. They replaced it with fresh lemon water the next morning.

“A retreat type feeling with clean accomadations and very friendly staff. Beautifully kept”

It was fantastic, from breakfast to the clean rooms and the beautiful view we had. We would definitely return. The waterfall is gorgeous and everything is well kept. The inn keeper was super nice and gave us a great tour of our suite.
