I travel a lot for work, so the Gasthof Averbeck in Ennigerloh / Münsterland is my go‑to. The rooms are good, the vibe is very nice, the staff is excellent, and breakfast is superb—no buffet, everything is prepared for you. The restaurant food is also outstanding! The only downside is the noise from the passing street when a window is open.

The rooms weren’t cozy. The bathroom fan was dirty. A blanket without a cover lay on the wardrobe floor, looking messy. The TV was old and broke on the second day.

The food was good and everyone was friendly, and the value for money was solid. The TV was mediocre: no channel guide and the response time was quite slow. A larger or newer TV would have been better in the booked room.

The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. Everything was fine.

Cleanliness was acceptable. The noise was intense! Parking was scarce, the bed was broken, and a room change was offered but wouldn’t have helped. When I raised the issue, the response was very unfriendly. The price/quality ratio was zero.
