The room was enormous, but communication was a nightmare since almost no one understood English or Japanese and the front desk seemed useless without a smartphone translator.

For a property in Haitang Bay the price‑performance ratio was excellent, with decent service, comfort and the Wanda brand holding up well, although the facilities showed their age.

Our stay at this hotel was marred by several disappointments, but the room and staff were a highlight. Despite the hotel's many shortcomings, the friendly staff and comfortable room made our visit somewhat enjoyable.
