The hotel rooms were large and accommodating; the staff were exceptionally courteous, especially Mr Jacob who made sure everything ran smoothly and the security guard who unofficially reserved a parking spot for us; the restaurant offers tasty food and is quite spacious, yet the property isn’t car friendly because driving to reception requires skill due to very narrow paths, and maintenance is needed around the main gazebo’s fish pond and amphitheatre.

We were upgraded to a suite without asking, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the pool was small and the tea‑time snacks could be better.

The location is good, but the property lacks maintenance: balcony doors have gaps letting insects in, the facilities are unclean, and the grounds are not kept up.
