The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room is clean and well equipped, and you can turn on the heating if it gets a bit chilly in the evenings. Breakfast is pleasant, and public transport is only 200 m away, not far from the central station. It’s perfect for a modest price. Unfortunately, there is no French TV channel, which is a pity as that’s often the case abroad.

Had a two night stay booked, got a message at 5pm to say reception only open till 6pm to check in. We'd landed but then stuck in passport control at the airport. I messaged straight back to say we would be there by 6.30 and asked if it would be possible for someone to please wait. I never heard back, had to cancel my booking and was charged for it. Quickly had to book somewhere else. No reply back, no reception or way to get keys from 6pm

The reception was willing to wait for us because we were late. There was a strong odor in the hallway and even in the room; they tried to mask it with various scents, but it was all wrong.

Located just a bit out of the city centre enabled us to discover the surrounding area which was slightly cheaper The bus service enabled us access to the sights of the city for half price being 60 to 65 65 year old and over go free. Nothing
