I got a great deal for the price. The staff were friendly enough, and the pool looked well maintained even though I never used it. They let us grill in the parking lot, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable and was repacked on our second night. All in all, it’s a decent motel on the way to Tazewell. The shower head in the bathroom needs cleaning or replacement, and the metal faucet plates weren’t nailed to the wall. The water temperature was inconsistent—cold water sometimes came out warm even when the tap was off. I also wished the shampoo and conditioner came in a more convenient container.

Although the hotel shows its age and is a bit rundown, I found it to be a perfectly acceptable place to spend a night when I needed it. The staff was friendly, which made up for some of the hotel's shortcomings. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I'm in the area.

The hotel met our needs adequately, offering a clean and convenient place to stay, even if it wasn't particularly luxurious. The owners were pleasant and welcoming, which added to our positive experience. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.
