However, a few essentials were missing—there weren’t enough glasses and the toiletries were scarce for four people, the mattress felt overly firm like a board, and the pillows were tiny.

The room was spacious and spotless, with a good number of power outlets, and the spot was handy with plenty of eateries nearby. The downside was that the air‑conditioning could only be switched on by staff and, once running, you couldn’t turn it off yourself, which was somewhat inconvenient.
