I noticed that reception was empty, and no one cleaned the room during the two days we stayed; we never had towels replaced or a spot to leave them to dry, and the shared fridge vanished the items we had stored. Score: 7.0/10

I liked the simple charm and the easy access to central Porto (Sao Bento); the staff were super friendly and let us drop off our baggage on day one. The room was tidy, spacious enough for a short stay, and the bathroom was roomy. The location was unbeatable, and the guesthouse offered a kitchen so we could cook our own meals. The third‑floor terrace was a nice touch with a view over some of the suburban buildings. All in all, the stay was comfortable, good value, and I’d recommend it for short stays. Score: 7.0/10

“Muito obrigado”

The service was very good and attentive at all times, and the hotel is just a 2‑minute walk from the Combatantes station where you can catch the metro, and 15 minutes to Aliados where you can enjoy the city and all its activities. The accommodation is very clean, with great amenities, a comfortable bed, and a very clean bathroom. The staff were also very helpful and explained everything perfectly. Overall, it was a very good experience. Score: 10.0/10

The room was very comfortable and pretty, and having a kitchen to use was very convenient. A metro station close by connects easily to the city centre and the airport. The only downside is that you have to climb stairs to reach the rooms, which can be tough if you’re carrying a lot of luggage – that wasn’t my case. Score: 10.0/10
