The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is far from the city centre, yet the area itself offers everything you need, and a tuk‑tuk can take you to the centre at any time. I felt very comfortable because everything is available on the property – you can order food on‑site, surf schools are nearby, and the surroundings are overall very beautiful. You can simply walk along the ocean and enjoy the view. The only issue was that the road from the hotel to the main road is in very poor condition, but I believe this isn’t the hotel’s fault. Everything else was excellent.

“Très bel emplacement mais service limité par rapport au prix demandé !”

Direct access to a beautiful beach and a nice setting. However, there was no Wi‑Fi in the rooms, no coffee for breakfast, no room service for a week, no change of bath linens, and no housekeeping even after requesting a broom. The water reservoir wasn’t changed even though there was no potable water – a pity! The resort is under construction, with work starting at 7 a.m. and a jackhammer in use.

“It was a decent hotel but the bathroom was really bad.”

It was next to the beach and not many people stayed there. The bathroom was awful because it had a hole in the roof that was intentional, making it constantly smelly.

“For an emergency stay it’s fine but not recommended”

Close to the beach and a calm area. First, the road to the property is horrible. Second, the services are overpriced – food and surfboard rentals are overcharged (in Siargao there’s a fixed price, but here they try to scam you). The food is terrible, so I strongly advise not to order anything. Third, the treatment of the staff is poor; about 70 % seem lost, with bad attitudes, even though the manager looks nice but hasn’t done anything and barely knows what the staff are doing. About overpriced things, just leave; only 5 minutes outside you’ll find cheaper options. The 4‑G signal is bad, so forget about staying connected unless you use their Wi‑Fi, which gives you 12 h per use but sometimes only 20 minutes. Cleaning is lacking – I stayed 6 days and they cleaned once; you have to ask them to clean, otherwise they’re lazy. Many problems with the light, no generator, but they charge you like you’re a millionaire. Beds are very uncomfortable, rooms feel unsafe, and insects are everywhere inside. Apart from this, the place looks nice for pictures.

“Precioso alojamiento frente al mar en un spot de surf”

I was blown away by Ocean 9; the spot is right in front of a beautiful beach where you can surf, and the restaurant and bar vibes are super cool. The pool offers sea views, and the manager, Doe, is very friendly and helpful with everything you need. I’ll definitely come back.
