“掃除をきちんとしていただければ素敵な宿”

The owner was friendly and approachable, which I appreciated. The room was spacious and the kids could move around freely. When I left in the morning, the view was surprisingly beautiful— the sea looked stunning. The bath kettle wasn’t cleaned properly; when I tried to pour water into the tub it felt gritty, so I had to clean it myself. There was also a single pubic hair in the bathroom, which was unpleasant. Because the place is very natural, a lot of insects appeared— first a cockroach, then many spiders. The spider webs in the corners were also bothersome.

Having the whole building to ourselves gave us total privacy. Unfortunately, the room lacked a television and the washroom didn’t have a mirror.

“リフォーム済み古民家、居心地最高。”

Traveling with two toddlers, we spread futons on the tatami room and slept peacefully at night. Because we had an entire separate building to ourselves, the kids could be noisy without bothering anyone else. The tatami was brand‑new, the Japanese‑style room was clean and very relaxing. The only downside was that the kitchen was under renovation, so a functional cooking area would have been nice.

“オーナーさん？は親切だったのでこれから改善していくのかな？という宿でした”

I appreciated it when the owner increased the heating, but unfortunately, the room was freezing cold for a while after check-in. It would have been great if they could have warmed it up before we arrived. The room and bathroom were clean and newly renovated, but I was surprised to see a large spider in the corner of the toilet, which could have been cleaned better. Additionally, I found the reservation process to be cumbersome, with too much personal information required and language issues.
