The rustic, peaceful vibe was great, though the location felt a bit rough; otherwise everything was fine, and I might come back next year.

The meals were delicious and nicely plated, the staff were friendly, and the site was gorgeous with green spaces, flowers, and parrots flying overhead; the little pool was a nice spot to cool off. My husband had knee issues and every stair to the room was hard to climb—an inclined path without stairs would have been ideal. The unpaved, sloping road to the hotel was tough unless you have a 4x4.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the green areas were lovely; the restaurant food was tasty and the location was convenient for visiting Copán. When we arrived, the hotel had not recorded our booking in Booking, so we had to wait before a room was assigned. The “kitchen” room was literally behind the kitchen, making it noisy; the shower had mold and the pool was not very clean, so we didn’t feel like swimming.

The location up in the mountains was excellent, the city views were beautiful, the food was great, the cabins were comfortable, and the staff were amazing. The only downside was the warm bath water, though I understand mountain water tends to be colder.
