Located on Aitutaki Lagoon’s north‑western shore, Aitutaki Seaside Lodges offers three air‑conditioned beachfront bungalows just 20 m from the water, each insect‑screened with a full kitchen, living area, flat‑screen TV, towels and linens. A five‑minute drive from the airport, the resort provides BBQ facilities, kayaking, lagoon fishing trips, car hire, shared laundry and a local‑call phone.

The location and view were great, yet the room felt tired with cracked floor tiles, the plugs didn’t seal against water, it wasn’t as clean as other places we’ve stayed, and the front pool was too shallow compared to other spots that had deeper holes.

The location of Aitutaki Seaside was absolute beachfront. The view from the large deck was stunning and we spent most our time on the deck. It was incredibly peaceful, quiet and private. A very short walk and you were 'toes in the water'. The beach is shallow but a short walk up the beach to Base One gets you into deeper water and reasonable snorkelling. The property is managed by Tearoa and she was a gem to deal with. Met us at the airport and helped with where to get supplies etc. The grounds are looked after by No'o and he keeps the sand in front raked and the gardens etc. in excellent condition 5 days a week. Grace does the 'housekeeping' when required and was always obliging and very cheerful. The laundry meant you didn't have to over-pack as you could keep fresh clothes washed and of course, they dried very quickly on the outside line. The kitchen had everything we needed as we did our own cooking on a few nights. What a great shower with good pressure!!! You really do need a vehicle, car or scooter, to get around as distances to places for food and meals could be daunting in the heat if you chose to walk. Aitutaki Car and Bike Hire took care of that for us with a small car that we picked up on arrival at the airport and dropped off there on our departure. There are plenty of options to dine out, all within 15 minutes drive.resort restaurants and street food type places and we never had a bad food experience in 2 weeks. Having to leave BUT we've booked unit 1 again for next year and can't wait already
