“Perfect location, just a short walk to the centre of Ubud, with lovely local warungs only metres away. Despite being so”
This place felt like a quiet refuge in the middle of a bustling tourist spot, and I especially loved the calm mornings while having breakfast and just breathing. Most of the comments online were spot on. I stayed in the Deluxe Double with a semi‑outdoor bathroom, and while a few spots could use a deeper clean and there were occasional small marks on the linen, it’s a homestay, not a five‑star hotel. Many Balinese families can’t afford to replace linen constantly to meet Western standards. The owner, Made, and his staff were wonderfully kind, friendly, and accommodating. My room didn’t have a fridge, but when I asked, they gladly offered one. One morning breakfast ran a bit late, but once I mentioned it, they prepared it immediately. I’d definitely stay again! If you’re after a five‑star experience, this isn’t it, but if you want an authentic, peaceful homestay close to Ubud at a very reasonable price, you’ve found your little haven. ✨😌
