I’m struggling to find any positives; maybe the bathroom tiles were decent and shower water pressure was okay. Nothing else. The staff attitude was awful, the interior looked like it hadn’t been updated in 40 years, the rooms were old, the playground was broken and closed—seemed unused for ages, and there was garbage scattered in the garden. I tried hard not to cancel, but we spent as little time there as possible and felt completely unwelcome.

The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the rooms were clean with a beautiful view of the Tatras.

The beds were comfortable and we could make tea or coffee. The noise was incredible; we were warned at check‑in (right there) about a party happening elsewhere in the property, yet we didn't expect music behind our room’s wall after 23:00, and after a few hours the glass was smashed twice and the noise kept going. If you’re heading out early for a hike and want a decent night’s sleep, I wouldn’t recommend it.
