The bed was comfortable and everything was airy; the breakfast was simple but good. I checked in on a Friday at 17h and needed to stay until Saturday at the latest by 15h, so I had to pay an extra 100 reais; how do the daily rates work?

The breakfast was quite simple: buttered bread, coffee with milk, a cake, and scrambled eggs. There was no small table in the room, no coat rack in the bathroom, the shower barely produced warm water, no minibar, no air conditioning—just a ceiling fan, no intercom, and I had to ask for soap because none was provided. (hotel does NOT HAVE)

The breakfast turned out to be surprisingly good with plenty of options if you’re very hungry. The accommodation was very basic. None of the ceiling fans worked, but pedestal fans were available and there were few power outlets. It’s near a busy road that quiets down late at night. The staff were very helpful and kind, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. This is probably one of the best value places in Formiga for a single night before moving on. Don’t expect Hilton-level service; this isn’t that, but if you’re a solo traveler looking for a place in Formiga with a surprisingly good breakfast included and still within a budget, this is the spot. Again, the staff were nice, helpful, and kind.
