Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with pleasing color choices and an overall great vibe. We especially liked the terrace where we could sunbathe and eat. The hosts were friendly and polite, and we had a brief but pleasant conversation when we arrived and left. The place was well situated, close to many attractions, and the surroundings were green, calm, and peaceful. It was nice to have animals around because it was a farm. Some small details could be improved. The kitchen lacked a sink and had limited utensils, making cooking difficult. The small size of the kitchen also meant ventilation was insufficient. Only two towels were provided in the bathroom, which felt inadequate. Some parts of the room had narrow passages, and the frosted glass at the entrance with a sensor‑lit light felt a bit intrusive in terms of privacy. Additionally, the ventilation and toilet flush from the adjoining room were quite loud; a few times early in the morning we were woken up by them. Overall, fixing these details could make the stay even better.

“Immersi nella natura ma stanza piccola”

The spot is perfect for getting to Titisee lake, Freiburg, Triberg, and the like, and the setting feels magical because it’s tucked into the Black Forest, isolated, quiet, surrounded by nature and animals that our daughter loved. The outdoor area with a table, chairs and loungers looks nice. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The kitchenette is tiny and barely equipped, good only for making breakfast, not for cooking dinner, and you have to go to the bathroom to wash dishes. It’s fine for two people who stay outside all day, but with a child it’s already cramped.

“Classic farm stay ideal for black forest vacation - we had a lovely time!”

We stayed at a classic farm in the southern Black Forest, ideal for family trips; the animals and fire pit were the kids’ favorite parts. Renata, our host, generously supplied firewood and lighting materials and let the children feed the goats, and the kitchen offered free coffee and tea. She speaks English, which was a bonus. Thank you for the lovely memories! We were sad to leave. Because it’s a working farm, there’s some daytime noise. The automatic energy‑saving light in the kitchen leaks through the door window into the room, so if you’re a light sleeper it might disturb you when someone comes out at night to use the kitchen or washroom. The kitchen is tiny and not really set up for cooking—more for heating and light prep. It’s best to use the fire pit for grilling or BBQ. All of this was advertised beforehand, so I can’t say I disliked it, just something to keep in mind if you’re considering a stay.

“A beautiful countryside location”

We were truly enchanted by the warm hospitality of our hosts and the serene beauty of the surrounding countryside. The picturesque Schwarzwald region stole our hearts with its gorgeous landscape and adorable farm animals. While we loved exploring the charming towns of Titisee and Freiburg, which were conveniently accessible by car or train, the real highlight was the peaceful atmosphere that enveloped us throughout our stay.
