Breakfast was good and the location is perfect for traveling between Chicago and the northern suburbs. The first impression was bad because the front desk had a rude attitude at check‑in, the room wasn’t clean and still had leftover food in the fridge, the toilet/shower area was so small you had to squeeze in and then close the door behind you, there was rust at the bottom of the shower which was unacceptable for the nightly rate, housekeeping didn’t clean the rooms, didn’t take out the trash or deliver fresh towels. This was not a good experience from a brand I usually trust. Parking fees were not disclosed in the reservation.

The staff were really kind and tried hard to help us, getting us into two rooms during our stay. Unfortunately, the reservation couldn't be located and the whole process was chaotic. On the first night we were put in a room that didn't match what we had booked, and on the second night we finally moved to the jetted‑tub room we had requested, but a bug crawling on the nightstand and floor made us feel grossed out.
