The staff were good, but the location was not.

The hotel is in a good spot near Copacabana’s tourist spots, breakfast was decent though some of the best items, like passion fruit, weren’t consistently available; the rooftop bar was open but I didn’t see staff when I went up, and the hotel only had large communal soap and shampoo bottles on the wall, which isn’t ideal.

“Experiência insatisfatória: falha grave no respeito ao silêncio e na organização”

The experience was very unsatisfactory! The hotel seriously fails to respect silence and professionalism. Staff noise in the corridors is constant and excessive: they keep slamming doors and speaking loudly enough that you can hear the conversation from inside the room even with the door closed, and they use walkie‑talkies at a very high volume right at the room entrances. We reported this to reception and asked for quiet, but the request was ignored and the door noise kept going, ruining our rest. Breakfast was also unpleasant; kitchen noise was unbearable with laughter, shouting, and constant clattering of objects, all clearly audible in the dining area. On top of that, we had a major communication and logistics failure: we booked a transfer to Rock in Rio with the promise that it would depart from the hotel, but the bus left from a neighboring property. Reception gave no guidance and we only avoided missing the transport by finding information ourselves. The staff’s conduct and lack of support are incompatible with the promised service level; management and owners need to urgently retrain their employees.

The location was fine, but everything felt dated.

This is the second time I've stayed here this year; the staff are excellent, the hotel is clean, and the room is very good. I had left something in the room, called the hotel, they searched, found it, and returned it.
