The location is great, though the roads leading there aren’t that wide—nothing major, but worth mentioning. We stayed in the room with the ‘private’ terrace and loved sitting outside to enjoy the view. Nuno excels as a host and the food was truly outstanding. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected and had a slight odd smell, though a deep clean would solve it. The small fridge in the room was old and made a bit of noise—time for a replacement.

The village on the Douro River is beautiful, and the house itself is lovely with a welcoming pool after exploring the area. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and their homemade wine was very palatable. The access roads to the village can feel a bit scary, so take your time.

We loved the quietness of the property, which gave us exactly the relaxing getaway we wanted. The private terrace was great for sipping wine, reading, playing games, and chatting. The dinner on the property was delicious. The only downside was the windy roads to the property; a small car would have helped if you rent one.

A hospitalidade e simpatia do Nuno e da Telma. Sem dúvida que fazem toda a diferença. O Nuno faz-nos sentir em casa e a Telma conforta-nos o estômago. Nada a reclamar. Foi tudo bom
