“We did enjoy our stay, just wish there was solution for better window coverings.”
We knew there was no breakfast and didn’t expect it. The spot was fine. Walking up the hill in mud and rain felt a bit daunting, but we managed. One stretch of the road into town isn’t paved, but it was close enough to the beach and town for walking. Parking was very good. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked great and was always clean. There was no neighbor noise and only two units were rented while we stayed. The extra drying racks were very useful given how much we were in the rain. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t cook or use the kitchen except for coffee, but it seemed to have all the basics. Because of the large, west‑facing wall of windows, it was very hot during the day. We were there at the end of September. The AC worked well but it took several hours to cool the room after we entered in the afternoon, even with the curtains closed. The curtains look great but aren’t functional; blackout shades would help with heat and the early‑morning sun. It was full daylight by 5:00 am. We had two bath towels, one full‑size and the other noticeably smaller, which was a bit odd. The toilet tank took a long time to refill after flushing.
