I’ve been coming for years, but this time I was a bit disappointed. All the neighboring bungalows had dogs that were grilling right next to them, which was annoying.

“Decent location with a slight bitter taste to it, but overall a decent stay - overall happy”

It’s a handy campground on the west coast, close enough to beaches if you bike or drive. The place is simple, with few amenities, but we only stayed one night, so we didn’t have time to explore. The location was quiet and the main road traffic was not audible from the campground. We had to wait almost 2 hours after arriving (even after the earliest check‑in time) before we could check in, but the staff were kind enough to let us leave the next day without any extra charge. We were checked in late because the camper wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we had to wait nearly 2 hours, which was not a great experience when you’re exhausted and it disrupted our plans a bit. Because of that, there was still a strong smell of chlorine/cleaner in the camper and the floors were still wet. The campground feels a bit outdated, and the fee for losing a card is absurd—25 € for a simple plastic card. We were told we need those cards with us at all times because staff will ask for them as identification.

Everything was very clean, but the reception never answered phone calls, emails, or messages; only one planned activity took place, and one day the pool was closed all day for maintenance, which is confusing given the reduced summer hours.
