The hotel is close to Kassel’s main train station yet still feels surprisingly calm and pleasant. The reception staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. However, there was no water boiler in the room. It might be only room 118, but it is right after the isolation door from the reception/bar. When the door closes itself after opening, it is very‑very loud and wakes you up early at night and also in the early mornings. It also seems that the cleaning staff do not routinely check whether hand soap, body soap, etc. are filled and not empty.

I like everything about this property – it’s clean and beautiful. Nothing is wrong; everything is good.

The room was good, service was good, location very good. We had to go to the Wilhemshöhe train station. Unfortunately, the chicken wings were not really good, sometimes even still cold inside.
