Independent, ultra‑quiet, spotless, equipped with fridge, AC, hair dryer, TV and kettle. The windowed bathroom is larger than typical Greek standards, with a roomy shower and ample vanity. Single beds are very comfortable. Even a three‑night stay gets thorough cleaning, showing real care for guests. Plenty of outdoor parking space, just 100 steps from the sea. The place itself is perfect, but I think a double bed, some shower shelves, and an outdoor spot for breakfast or evening drinks would make it even more welcoming. Still, we plan to come back.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, explained everything about the apartments, location, and recommended a car rental. We rented both flats from him: Aegean Blue Santorini Perivolos (different property advertising) and Aegean Blue Santorini Perivolos 1 (current property advertising). Only one flat can be reviewed on the booking system, so we’ll share details for both. Both are in the same building (1st floor and ground floor respectively) directly opposite the free section of the black beach – just a 30‑meter walk to the sea. It sits between the main leisure zones with bars and restaurants of Perissa and Perivolos, offering many options, though it’s much quieter at night. A small shop next to the property supplies basic breakfast items; a big supermarket is about 2 km away with a larger selection. A bus stop 50 m from the building runs to Fira every 30‑40 minutes, a comfortable option if you can’t or won’t rent a car. Cleaning occurs every 3 days at a superb level. Aegean Blue Santorini Perivolos 1 (current property advertising): freshly renovated, very clean, single room with two separate beds – good for independent travelers or a couple; has TV, Wi‑Fi, A/C and fridge. Aegean Blue Santorini Perivolos (other property): freshly renovated, very clean, 1st‑floor location with a huge terrace; two rooms (bedroom and living room with fully functioning American kitchen) – fits a family of four; has TV, Wi‑Fi and A/C. The area is still under construction (not active in summer) – only 3 apartments ready. In front of the building are leftover ruins of a bar blocking the sea view. The illuminated walking path leads to it, not the real exit. Many people use the yard as free parking to go to the beach. Around the building are some trenches, repurposed as a basement entrance, but there’s no fence or protection, so kids need close supervision. Aegean Blue Santorini Perivolos 1 (current property advertising): no full kitchenette as advertised; ground‑floor location gives a feeling of insecurity sleeping with open windows. Aegean Blue Santorini Perivolos (other property): most kitchenware is only for two people (2 forks, 2 glasses); a somewhat mysterious lighting system that turns on different lights depending on the order of switches – more of a fun puzzle than a drawback.
