“Great value. Excellent spacious room layouts”

Because I have dietary restrictions I brought my own food, but I still saw a decent variety of options, especially tea, hard‑boiled eggs, and oatmeal, which I appreciated; however, the walls were very thin and I could hear normal movement and speaking from the room next door until 2 am, the hallway was loud when a group of university students moved between rooms slamming doors, and the bed was a bit too firm, though I prefer that over being too soft.

I enjoyed a great view of the mountains, the bay was comfortable, and the room was clean, leaving me very satisfied, and I have nothing bad to say.

We’ve stayed at this motel several times over the last two years and it’s getting rundown; the hallway carpet is beyond useful life, the front edge of the countertop in the room is torn off, the shower curtain rod is loose on one end so the curtain hangs on the tub floor, there’s no hand soap in the bathroom lavatory, and when I asked the front desk for a bar they said they were out—how does a motel run out of common hand soap?
