The hotel’s nature‑immersed concept is exceptional, very clean and comfortable. The buffet food is great. There’s no late checkout, no air‑conditioned waiting room for the remaining time, and no show in the theatre.

Everything great, except the restaurant booking. We were told to book in the morning, but when we went they said all tables were booked for a few days. That isn’t on the system. The restaurant booking system is a bit of a hassle.

The staff were very friendly, the meals always varied, and we could walk to Xcaret’s park. Even though I’m not a MyBarcelo member, the staff offering the membership were not pushy and didn’t restrict most of the hotel’s amenities. One of the pools was saltwater. Otherwise everything was fine.
