The garden was neglected and some curtains were torn. The futon wasn’t comfortable. We drove there in a family car, so parking was tight, but we had been warned beforehand. We were traveling with an 11‑month‑old baby, so we were nervous about breaking sliding doors or glass. The uneven steps made it unsuitable for elderly or families. Mosquitoes were constantly flying, likely because the building is old. The road‑side location meant cars passed by day and night, so it wasn’t a quiet place to rest.
