The setting is amazing, surrounded by nature, totally tranquil with trails and wildlife visible from the room—toucans outside our terrace and spider monkeys early in the morning—but many mosquitoes made it hard to enjoy the terraces, pool, and trails in the afternoon. The path to the lodge is tricky, off the main road, requires a 4×4, and you lose coverage; a sign with the 3.5 km distance on the dirt road would be helpful since you’re unsure if you’re on the right path.

The location is extraordinary, tucked in a secluded rainforest, and we saw monkeys and other wildlife right after arriving.

The lodge is gorgeous, hard to reach but worth it for the silence. The sunrise view is spectacular, the villas feel luxurious, the pool is well situated, and the staff, especially Zayro, work with passion and flexibility. Nothing else to add.

A perfect lodge for immersing yourself in nature; Zayro is always helpful and caring, and thanks to Jeffrey for the walk and the coconut :) The rough dirt road to the lodge lets you spot many animals, but you need a 4x4 to get there. No complaints.
