“まずまず。”

The bed, sheets, linens, and bathroom fixtures were all spotless, and I liked how the interior of the Chinese‑style building was surprisingly chic with a British vibe. The toilet and shower unit were separate. However, the counter was unmanned, so when I arrived at night the entrance and the location of the number key were confusing. At checkout the automatic door button was also hard to find, making me pause before I could leave the building. There was no nearby convenience store and the room had no water supply. Soundproofing was poor, so train and motorcycle noises were loud. Inside the building the lights stayed dim until a motion sensor triggered them, and the TV wouldn’t turn on.

I accidentally locked the room, but the owner was flexible and helpful, for which I’m grateful. When leaving, I spoke to the staff and received a candy, which I ate while heading to Universal Studios, proving the Osaka rumor about giving candies to visitors was true—felt moved.

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated, but the train noise was a bit annoying.

This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at; even the often-overlooked ventilation grates were spotless. The original equipment seemed a bit old, which is understandable, but the lack of an elevator meant carrying luggage required a fair amount of effort.

“少しがっかり”

I liked the self‑check‑in and check‑out process, but the room felt somewhat dirty and I never had the chance to meet any staff.
