“El hotel no está listo para operar, y no ofrecen un servicio de hospitalidad.”
The rooms are new, clean, and the design is nice. When we arrived, they handed us a seven‑page rule book that feels like restrictions that should have been explained before arrival. The pool is exposed to full sun, no shade, and at 40°C it’s a boiling bath. Reception staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable. I asked, “Will I be left without air conditioning at midnight?” They said yes, that they hadn’t received batteries to keep the AC running all night, and if I hadn’t asked they wouldn’t have informed me and I’d have been left in the heat at midnight. They didn’t give me the suite I paid for. I spent all day at the beach because the hotel is lost in the middle of the desert, far from the shore. At 4:00am my air conditioning shut off, so I had to move to the next room, wait for its AC to cool the hot room, and then resume sleeping. The TV had no signal. You can only charge your phone during the day and the water runs out. The restaurant opens at 9:00AM, so I had to wait until then for coffee; I ordered toast and was told “you’re owed it,” but there was no bread for breakfast. I left in a hurry; the place is an inferno in summer. The huge yoga palapa is beautiful, but I only ended up sweating, not resting. They should not open the hotel doors until they provide responsible and comfortable service; it was very disappointing.
