Right next to a loch, the entire place was spotless and meticulously maintained, with quality coffees, teas, biscuits, and toiletries. The location was beautiful, only a shame we only stayed one night.

Wonderful location, excellent accommodation and facilities, extremely friendly and welcoming hosts, outstanding breakfast. Plus bonus rabbits nearby. The only thing missing was sunnier weather.

The listing doesn’t do it justice – tasteful, beautifully considered rooms that feel like a home away from home. As soon as you step in, you completely relax and want to cancel all plans to just enjoy the space. It was practical too – little touches considered down to a T (we especially liked the ability to label your food for the communal fridge!). Honestly cannot fault this place. The only downside was that check‑in from 3 pm would have been better (but that’s only because I wanted more time there!).

Brilliant value for a calm and cosy retreat. The room was clean and the modern shower was gloriously hot – perfect for recovering from a long drive or a day’s walking. There are many walking options and fantastic lookouts nearby, and the view from the property is amazing – beautiful in the sunshine, atmospheric and impressive in mist and rain. Local places to eat are only a short walk away, and many options if you don’t mind a brief drive. The self‑check‑in was super simple, and we liked how easy it was to get straight to our room without any admin faff.

Quaint property, scenic location, history of the house and passion of the founder. Not value for money… communication between the coordinator and kitchen was not great (though dietary preferences were not passed on). The channel where guests can contact for any need should be informed. Breakfast was such a disappointment even after paying £15 per person.
