Terasu Hotel Boutique Salento

The experience was very good, the hotel very pretty, cozy, small but with a calm atmosphere to relax. Clean, very well organized. Breakfast excellent. There was no air conditioning or fan, and the airflow in the room was poor; on Salento nights, which were not cold this time, it was hot and the rest was unpleasant.

“Muy bonito y cómodo, aunque precio elevado”

Buena ubicación, ligeramente a las afueras del pueblo pero muy cómodo para ir caminando. Todo muy cuidado, y muy bonito respecto al resto de alojamientos de la zona. El motivo principal de este comentario es para animar a las personas que tengan reservas tras el terremoto a no cancelar, puesto que en Salento se respira una normalidad total y todas las actividades siguen su curso como siempre. Precio demasiado elevado para los servicios y atenciones que se ofrecen

This boutique hotel is beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a lovely terrace to unwind. The breakfasts were tasty, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

“Daylight robbery! Appalling and upsetting situation.”

Truly upsetting experience! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel cancelled our reservation of 7 rooms (14 people) 24 hours before our arrival because the tragic earthquake in Colombia caused damage to some rooms, so they could not host us. We understood this was beyond their control and patiently started arranging an alternate plan for our group, while speaking and waiting for the hotel to resolve certain issues, before they sent us – as promised – our full refund (we have all this in writing). Since then, however, the hotel has behaved terribly! Despite promising to send the money, it has now been over 4 weeks and not only has the refund not arrived, but they have lied continuously, claiming that they have tried to send the money and failed due to their bank not supporting international bank transfers (but refusing to provide proof of this when asked). If this wasn’t bad enough, they have now resorted to ignoring our emails and calls and the other day when I called them using a different phone number, the lady manager even put the phone down in my face as soon as I told her who I was. We have been extremely patient and polite with them throughout this ordeal, but it has now become clear that the hotel has no intention of reimbursing us, which leaves us with no choice but to report them to the consumer protection service of Colombia. What makes things even worse is that Booking has failed to chase this case up despite several promises to do so. It is extremely disappointing to see them simply keep on advertising this hotel on their platform with no consideration for the fact that they have taken our money illegally and failed to provide the service promised to us. In short – the hotel may be nice – we never got to see – but the people running it are clearly unscrupulous.

“Hotel con encanto con un precio alto”

The decor, garden, and security were nice, and the room was small enough that we left the key on the door. Breakfast was good, but refills were slow. The hotel is pretty cute and overall fine, but the price feels high. When we arrived, we had to wait at reception because the staff were juggling many tasks.
