the breakfast—served by Mari—was the best part of the trip: big, tasty and even a meat‑eater like me was impressed.
The inn sits right at the far end of the village (the Xandó area) and, because there are only a handful of rooms, it stays quiet and you can hear the ocean all day long.
I have to give a special shout‑out to Mari, who was incredibly friendly and gave us great advice throughout our stay.
Our room, Terra, was spacious and beachy, with a bathroom that let in natural light through a ceiling opening, a hammock, and lovely decor.

“Espaço para relaxamento pé na areia e bem "roots"”
The inn sits right at the far end of the village (the Xandó area) and, because there are only a handful of rooms, it stays quiet and you can hear the ocean all day long. The thatched roof keeps the place cool, and the breakfast—served by Mari—was the best part of the trip: big, tasty and even a meat‑eater like me was impressed.
“Pousada maravilhosa beira do mar”
I loved absolutely everything about this place—the inn was wonderful, the breakfast was fantastic, and I have to give a special shout‑out to Mari, who was incredibly friendly and gave us great advice throughout our stay.
“Bom”
The club facilities were decent, but the beach left a lot to be desired and didn’t meet my expectations.
The breakfast and the warm welcome at Casa Maraê were top‑notch, making a good first impression. The downside is that you have to walk a decent distance from the canoe pier to the house, and the local taxis only carry luggage, which isn’t mentioned in the listing—so anyone with mobility issues will find the trek a surprise.
“Perfeita”
This spot is fantastic: the room was top‑notch, the breakfast delicious, and the staff member who helped us was super attentive and helpful.
