“Unterkunft mit Potenzial, aber einigen Defiziten”
I stayed at a spacious resort that served as a solid base for climbing the Aragats; the pool was pleasantly temperate, the rooms were roomy, and we could use the kitchen. However, contrary to the listing, there was no 24‑hour reception—only a doorman and sometimes a housekeeper, neither of whom spoke English. The room furnishings and pool loungers were quite dated; more than half of the lamps had burned out, making the room and bathroom rather dark. Storage was lacking, and a single roll of toilet paper was insufficient for a multi‑day stay, so we had to buy more locally. The dishwasher in the kitchen was broken, breakfast was bland, and we had to ask extra for coffee. Overall, it seemed the staff didn’t care much for guests, perhaps due to the language barrier.
