As a layover it was quite acceptable and clean, but it was very simple and clearly in need of renovation.

The room was rented, the coffee was good, and a smiling lady welcomed us when we realized we needed to call for entry, but the door was locked when we arrived, the place felt a bit dead, and there was no restaurant.

The reception was very friendly and warm, with an always approachable and helpful owner, a tasty breakfast that catered to guests' wishes, and flexible arrival and breakfast times; however, because of the building's age the conditions are particularly challenging— the staircase to the first floor is steep, making it hard to carry luggage, and the beds weren't quite right for us, though that’s probably a matter of taste.
