“El mejor apartamento que he visto en Phuket”

The apartment was brand new, spotless, spacious, and fully equipped with a kitchen, a good fridge, microwave, water heater—everything you’d need if you want to dine in. The pool was amazing. A big TV with HDMI lets you watch your own movies if you bring a laptop and cable. The internet was good, though it started to fail the last two days, probably due to heavy data use (I mostly watched YouTube). If you’re into diving, it’s close to the Chalong pier, so transport is shorter and you can sleep more. It’s near a decent restaurant—Nui Restaurant is highly recommended, not a fancy place but the food is excellent. The staff were charming: the owner (I think) is reachable through the app for anything, and the lady who manages the apartment is delightful. Thank you both so much! The area feels a bit “left to God’s mercy” if you’re looking for nightlife, with few bars or massage parlours, so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone wanting to enjoy Phuket’s wild side. It’s not Patong, for better or worse. To shop, you have to go down a street without a sidewalk, so you walk on the shoulder with scooters brushing you, which is a bit risky, especially for a small Big C. The Makro is a little far (though manageable) for a walk.

“Très très décevant. Mauvais rapport qualité prix.”

The location was fine. We were shocked upon arrival to discover that the accommodation was run as an Airbnb, not a hotel. It was hard to figure out where the apartment was, and once there we realized there was no housekeeping, no trash disposal, no linen changes—even though we stayed a week and went to the beach daily. The apartment was severely lacking in equipment: no bathroom storage, no coat rack, almost no storage in the main room… In short, the staff were not helpful either. Very disappointed with this experience. I do not recommend.

“DELUDENTE”

Arriving at the reception, they told us it wasn’t their property but a private host because it was a condominium. After a 45‑minute wait on Booking we finally got a room number, but the room was on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken, so I couldn’t get up there while pregnant. We tried to switch rooms, but nobody helped us. Two hours later we gave up and left. DISAPPOINTING

The location is really close to everything, even by taxi, and the hotel staff is great. However, you should know it’s an Airbnb inside a hotel, which makes it confusing when you arrive because nothing is explained. The manager is available but you still have to take out the trash and do the cleaning yourself. There’s a big lack of communication about this.
