The place is great with a beautiful view; from the balcony of one room it’s convenient to watch sunsets. The rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms come with everything you need for your stay: towels, bathrobes, high‑quality shampoo and shower gel, pool towels, slippers. Every morning the breakfast is very good, larger than usual Italian ones (Alessandro even makes hot sandwiches). Alessandro is very helpful and caring, thanks for the wine cooler. For your convenience there’s a table and chairs in the lobby, a terrace where you can dine, and the parking lot fits at least 5 cars. If you’re a frequent traveler who leaves early in the morning and returns late at night, make sure the pool rules fit your schedule, because they’re very strict.

The location is good, breakfast is excellent, and the hosts are courteous. Cleanliness is spot on, and the beds are comfortable with large rooms. The pool closes at 7 pm, so when we got back we couldn’t swim, even though we’d have liked to in the 30‑degree heat. It was clear that this was not for guests’ benefit. There are no fridges in the rooms or in the common areas, which is a real disappointment after a 35‑degree day when you want something cold. The room pricing is odd: the better rooms are cheaper, and the pricier ones don’t feel worth it.

The location is superb and the host is very friendly. After visiting Florence, Siena, or Lucca, this place is a paradise for relaxation.
