I hit the hotel after a marathon drive, and it was a quiet welcome after a hectic day. The room was spotless and cozy, making the whole stay feel great, even though I had to travel farther than usual before stopping for the night.

The motel boasts an atrium and an indoor pool, but it lacks an elevator to the second floor, a fact that isn’t mentioned anywhere during booking. Disabled guests need to call the hotel—despite having already booked—to confirm a ground‑floor room, and the manager refused to refund the charge, so we’re not returning.

The motel’s property was solid, but there was no staff present at check‑in, which was handled by a kiosk. When we needed extra towels, no one was around to help, and at checkout we found all the room cards simply lying on the counter.
